ANDEN Caddy

Part bookcase, side table, stool or step, Caddy is a multifunctional statement handmade in England from solid ash. Designed by ANDEN’s Creative Director, Gavin Coyle, the Caddy’s clean lines, distinct curves and tapered profile work effortlessly together, drawing the eye to the timber’s distinctive wood grain.

Caddy is designed for use a side table in the living or bedroom and is the ideal accessory for someone who always has more than one book on the go. Inspired by the traditional library trolley, each book is angled up to give easy access and a better view of the  spines, while the top can be a table for drinks, a seat, or even somewhere to put your feet up.

The most stylish solution for anyone with a stack of half-read books by the side of the bed.

The Caddy is made from solid ash which has a distinctive grain pattern complementing the overall form of the piece.

A contrasting timber insert (choose, from natural, ebonised, green, and deep red stain, each sold separately, £POA) can also be placed into the lower section giving an additional flat surface which can slide to act as a book stop, but also makes a great plant stand or place for curios - may we suggest the ANDEN Chirp.

Each ANDEN Caddy is made to order using traditional woodworking techniques and the finest sustainable timbers.

With the books presented at the ideal angle to grab your attention, it's no coincidence we made the Caddy sturdy enough to be used as a stool.
